On Saturday, 18 May 2019, parents, learners and staff of Jam ‘Eyyatul Qurra’ visited the Manenberg Safe House as part of our 2nd Outreach Programme Alhamdulillah. The lady of the house, Fatima Manassa, received us with a warm welcome and provided a brief description on the history of the Safe house and what it hopes to achieve in the community.
The Manenberg Safe House currently accommodates 15 children and is well maintained. Fatima selflessly offers her time and efforts daily to ensure the children at the home feel loved, cared for and try her utmost best to instil Islamic morals and values into the children. She expressed her gratitude to the parents, learners and staff of Jam ‘Eyyatul Qurra’ for the donations received and for choosing their safe house as one of the beneficiaries of our Ramadaan Outreach Programmes for this year. We truly hope that through sharing the experience on Saturday with us you would continue to extend your love, blessings and support to these beautiful children even beyond the month of Ramadaan. For further information about the Manenberg Safe House or if you wish to continue to contribute in any beneficial way to the Safe House, you may contact Fatima Manasse on 073 7392 969.
The management and staff at Jam ‘Eyyatul Qurra’ are truly humbled by the continued support and commitment from our parents, learners and staff in uniting with us to extend compassion to our fellow brothers and sisters and for sharing some of your daily blessings provided by Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala with those who are desperately in need of it. Shukran for helping us uphold this blessed month with a spirit of charity in abundance as was practiced and encouraged by our beloved Nabi Muhammad (SAW). We pray the Almighty bless you and your family and may we all leave this blessed month of Ramadaan in a better state then which we entered it, Ameen.
