It is through the grace and mercy of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala and you, our generous benefactors, that Jam ‘Eyyatul Qurra’ has grown over the years and has expanded from a Male and Female Hifth Institute to now include a JEQ Pre-Primary School and the JEQ Preparatory School.
Many of our students are orphans and from underprivileged backgrounds such as Manenberg, Hanover Park, Mitchells Plain, Delft, Atlantis, Parkwood, Khayelitsha, Mossel Bay, etc thus are unable to afford the required school fees. This places a severe strain on meeting the monthly operational expenses of all the schools.
During the blessed month of the Quran, Jam ‘Eyyatul Qurra’ will be hosting its seventh Pledge Line live on ITV on Saturday 25 May 2019, which will coincide with 19th Ramadaan 1440, at 21h30 to 01h30. We humbly request of you to support our pledge drive and help raise the needed funds for JEQ to assist its needy and orphan students and generate funding for the purchase of new property for the extension of its Hifth facilities and building a hostel functional and conducive for the memorisation of the Holy Quran and an orphanage – integrated into the hifth programme – in association with AWQAFSA. Donate by purchasing a m² for R1,000.00 or portions thereof.
Any ZAKAAH or LILLAH/ SADAQA amount can be a pledge towards our ADOPT a HAFITH programme, at R1,700.00 per month or R20,000 per year per student.
We thank you in anticipation for your support. We make dua that the Almighty grant you and your family abundance in all areas of your life, and may the benefits upon you, through your charity, extend into Akhirah, Ameen.
Abu Huraira (RA) reported: Allah’s Messenger (SAW) as saying: When a man dies, his acts come to an end, except three, recurring charity or knowledge (by which people) benefit, or a pious son, who prays for him. [Sahih Muslim]
